Jalpernia, or “JP”, has served as practice manager for The Salem Center since 2008. With more than a decade of experience in healthcare administration, she has developed extensive expertise in professional medical billing, coding, referrals, scheduling, human resources, and emergency medical services (EMS).
A dedicated healthcare professional, Jalpernia is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). She is an active member of her local AAPC chapter and has served as a Notary Public for the State of North Carolina since 2018.
Jalpernia earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Management and her Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Health Administration, further demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning and leadership in healthcare.
A resident of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Jalpernia enjoys giving back to her community through her professional involvement and public service. Outside of her career, she is passionate about college basketball, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She and her husband share two adult children and six grandchildren.
Through her leadership, experience, and dedication to excellence, Jalpernia continues to make meaningful contributions to healthcare operations and patient-centered practice management.
