Marie Polanco, CPC, CPPM, CPB, CRC, NBC-HWC, has been involved in healthcare management for over 30 years. She graduated from the University of Arkansas Nursing school. She worked as a hospital nurse for 10 years before migrating to the outpatient arena with home health management. Her management background includes home health, surgery, anesthesia, radiology, and primary care, both family and pediatrics.
She is certified as a CPC, CPPM, CPB and CRC through the American Academy of Procedural Coders and a Board-Certified as a Health and Wellness Coach through the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches. She has worked as an independent consultant with numerous medical practices over the years. She enjoys helping practices to define workflows which relate to the individual practice and help each practice determine the process which is most beneficial to them in the world of managed care and quality metrics.
Marie loves to travel and recently became a certified as a yoga teacher.
