Originally from Texas, my family moved to North Carolina when I was 7 years old. I grew up in the Jacksonville, NC area until I graduated from White Oak High School and went off to college. I attended East Carolina University, Go Pirates!!, and graduated in December of 2002, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and Minor in Business Administration. I met my wife while attending ECU and we got married in 2004. We have three children ages 20, 17, and 11. We lived outside of the Jacksonville area until Darden Restaurants decided to move us back here in February 2005. I worked with Darden Restaurants until leaving for a brief stint to open up the Cheddar’s in Jacksonville. Shortly after that I was given the opportunity to come and work with my Dad, Dr. Gant, at Onslow Pediatric Associates, in October of 2012. It was a blessing for me and my family to have this opportunity, and I have truly enjoyed working in the healthcare field. I was invited to be a DYAD manager back in the fall of 2024. This has given me more opportunities to learn and grow, as well as help my fellow CCPN members.
