Susan Huffman, CMPE has served as Practice Administrator of Unifour Pediatrics since its inception in 2005, helping to build the practice to eleven providers. She is a member of the Dyad team for CCPN, assisting as a peer contact and resource for practice managers. Prior to her role in pediatric primary care, she managed a healthcare specialty office for 20 years.

She has served in statewide leadership positions, including Chair of the Practice Managers Section, and Board Member of the North Carolina Pediatric Society from 2014-2016, and continues to be active with the group. Susan is a member of the local, State, and National sections of the Medical Group Management Association. She enjoys community service and is member and past president of the Rotary Club of Hickory.

Susan earned her BA English/Education undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1980, and teaching certification in 1981. In 1995 she earned the designation as a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) through the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Susan and her husband Bob live in Hickory and raise twin daughters who currently reside in Hickory and Charlotte with their families. She and her husband enjoy travel, aerobics, biking, hiking, and water sports.
