What is this campaign about?

Welcome to "Let's Talk Mammo," a CCPN initiative dedicated to bridging the gap in breast cancer screenings. Breast cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women, and nearly 2 million women in North Carolina ages 45+ are not up to date on their mammograms. In this campaign, we're bringing together communities, primary care practices, and individuals to engage in life-changing conversations.

"Let's Talk Mammo" is more than just a campaign; it's a call to action. It's a collective effort to promote awareness, inspire discussions, and most importantly, increase breast cancer screenings. Together, we aim to make a significant impact in the fight against breast cancer, saving lives and promoting a healthier future for all. So, let's begin this important conversation, take action, and save lives.

Why are we doing this?

When you address the gaps in breast cancer screening, you're actively benefiting your community and playing a role in fostering overall health improvements in North Carolina. Your commitment to community well-being is also a strategic boost to your practice's financial performance and the success of your physician-led, clinically integrated network. Note: For Blue Premier members, CCNC is offering practices a $100 bonus per mammogram gap closed through the end of the year. For details on bonuses for breast cancer screening and other care gaps, please see this communication.
